Workflows in generative media are wildly varied — some folks swear by node-based editors, others go straight to final cut. Help us build a shared picture of tools, workflows, and pain points.
As we speak with more and more folks in the space, it's staggering to me how different people's workflows are. Some people swear by node-based workflow editors while others don't see the point. Some people use extensive After Effects to massage the AI output and others put it directly into the final product. Some folks use Veo as a daily driver while the lucky few with access to Seedance 2.0 use it instead.
In the interest of developing a shared understanding of tools, workflows, and pain points, here's the 2026 Prism State of Generative Media Survey. It's completely anonymous and takes 2 minutes.
